California Republican State Senator, who was arrested for a DUI last week after leaving a gay night club, has officially announced that he is gay. When questioned on his anti-LGBT voting record he credited his constituents wishes.
Eric Massa, a Congressman from NY, will officially resign his office effective today at 5pm. He originally told the media he was retiring due to escalating medical issues and his doctor’s advice, but news quickly broke of a possible sexual harassment scandal with a male intern.
On a Sunday talk show, the Congressman described the event in question:
“A staff member made an intonation to me that maybe I should be chasing after the bridesmaid. His points were clear and his words were far more colorful than that,” Massa said. “And I grabbed the staff member sitting next to me and said, ‘Pal, what I really ought to be doing is fracking you.’ And then [I] tussled the guy’s hair, and left.”
